A-20 | ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction in the Younger Population in the United States and Their Predictors: A Race- and Gender-Based Analysis

Incidence of STEMI in the young population has been rising US. Little is known about effect race and gender on prevalence, localization, predictors among population. We queried patients (age < 50 yrs) with primary diagnosis from National Inpatient Sample database (2017-2019) studied prevalence localization men women. also evaluated using logistic regression. A total 69,950 (mean age 43 yrs, 78% men, 66% White) were studied. Black women had a higher black lower STEMI. White inferior Known CAD, familial hypercholesterolemia, smoking family history CAD are strong independent young.
